Prepare 4 Transformation is a life changing seminar that will teach and equip campus ministries and churches how to encounter and maintain spiritual awakening by focusing on the “Go to” model of the early church in the book of Acts.
John the Baptist prepared the way for Jesus to come. His message was clear, “Make ready the way of the Lord, make His paths straight,” (Matthew 3:3, Mark 1:3, Luke 3:4, NASB version)
The first and most important step of transformation is repentance and getting things right with God. This preparation must be accomplished and in place as a lifestyle for the other phases to be effective. Compromise amounts to idolatry and robs Christians of effectiveness. Jesus must be Lord of every area of our lives.
2 Corinthians 6:14-18 admonishes us to, “Come out and be separate”!
Jesus said, “My house shall be called a house of prayer,” 1 Peter 2:4-5 calls us “living stones”, so we as God’s people are to be living stones of prayer. In John 4:23-24 Jesus said, “An hour is coming when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth.”
Worship and prayer are two fundamental components of a personal relationship with God. Intercession is every believer’s calling and responsibility and opens up the door for God to move in people’s lives and circumstances!
These days, wickedness abounds and is everywhere. However, by tapping into God’s principles of accountability and discipleship the temptations can be overcome.
This session will offer practical ways to walk out accountability successfully in pairs or small groups. Luke 10 demonstrates how the 70 were sent out in two’s. It is clear in scripture that we need each other.
Jesus said in Matt. 28:19-20, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations.” American communities are diverse and have people from all walks of life and every nation of the world waiting for Christians to come to them. This is especially true on college campuses.
